Aged teas are one of the oldest families of teas. Due to their unique processing method, aged teas are sometimes called post-fermented teas, post-oxidized teas, or dark teas.
In a global market that favors fast tea-production, slowly aged teas like Pu'er, whose taste takes years to perfect, are rare to find.
Our Pu'er tea is aged in orange peel, which gives it an extraordinarily aromatic note.
Tasting notes: earthy, softwood, with fruity, citrusy nuances.
Origin: Fujian.
Steeping technique: rinse the leaves with hot water and discard them. Infuse the leaves for 40-60 seconds at 200-210F.
